Role Overview
As a Bar Tender in the Tullamore Court Hotel, you will be the face of our bar service, creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while expertly preparing and serving drinks. Your attention to detail, friendly nature, and ability to work efficiently under pressure will help us maintain the high standards our customers expect.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages promptly and accurately.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Manage stock levels and assist with inventory control to minimise waste and loss.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, following company procedures.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
- Stay up to date with current drink trends and promotions to enhance customer experience.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience as a bar tender or in a similar hospitality role is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards and licensing laws related to alcohol service.
- Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions and stock management.
- Team player with a positive attitude and a passion for hospitality.
