Front of House Manager

A new luxury historic castle is opening in the Irish Midlands, and we are searching for a Front of House Manager of exceptional talent, presence and precision to help define the guest experience from the very beginning.

Reporting directly to the Castle Manager, this is a pivotal role at the heart of what makes this property extraordinary. You will take complete ownership of the guest journey — from the very first reservation enquiry and pre-arrival call, through to a warm, seamless welcome and a departure.

THE OPPORTUNITY

  • Take full ownership of the guest journey at a landmark new Irish luxury property
  • Lead reservations, pre-arrival communication, concierge and valet from the ground up
  • Shape an arrival and departure experience that is entirely unhurried, personal and without formality
  • Work closely with the Castle Manager and F&B team as part of a close-knit leadership team
  • Be present at the very beginning of something rare in Irish hospitality

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Manage all reservations across accommodation, dining, Afternoon Tea and all guest-facing experiences
  • Lead pre-arrival communication — personalised calls, guest profiling and bespoke itinerary preparation
  • Oversee concierge and valet services, ensuring every guest need is anticipated and met with ease
  • Ensure accommodation is prepared and presented to an immaculate standard ahead of every arrival
  • Manage the property management system and ensure guest profiles are meticulously maintained
  • Coordinate the front of house elements of exclusive events, private dining and celebrations
  • Oversee dining reservations including external bookings for Afternoon Tea and dinner
  • Lead, coach and develop a small, cross-trained front of house team
  • Uphold the very highest standards of discretion, privacy and personalised care at all times
  • Liaise closely with the F&B team to ensure a seamless, joined-up experience throughout the day

WHO YOU ARE

You have built your career in ultra-luxury or five-star hospitality and understand that at this level, the details make everything. You are instinctively warm, impeccably organised and completely at ease with high-expectation guests. You lead a team by example, you notice what others miss, and you take quiet pride in getting things exactly right.

Strong working knowledge of property management systems (PMS) is essential. Experience with Forbes Travel Guide or LQA service standards is a significant advantage. A background in pre-opening properties or exclusive-use venues will set you apart.

  • High-end international hotel brands — Aman, Rosewood, Belmond, Six Senses or equivalent
