Every great hotel stay is made up of moments. For families with children, some of the best ones happen in the Kids Club — and we're looking for someone to make those moments unforgettable.

The Hillgrove Hotel, Monaghan is searching for a Director of Fun — our seasonal Kids Activities Manager — to lead the charge on children's entertainment this summer. If you're energetic, imaginative, and the kind of person who genuinely lights up around kids, read on.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be the face of fun at The Hillgrove from the moment families walk through the door. Working alongside our Kids Club team, you'll plan, create, and coordinate a full programme of activities that keep children entertained, engaged, and coming back for more — every single day.

From themed activity mornings to outdoor games, arts and crafts to mini challenges, you'll bring structure to the fun and energy to every session. You'll also work closely with the wider hotel team to ensure our youngest guests feel every bit as valued as everyone else.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working with children in a structured setting — summer camps, sports coaching, childcare, youth work, or similar
• A natural ability to connect with kids of all ages and make them feel at ease
• Strong organisational skills — you'll be building and running a daily programme, not just showing up
• A team player who can lead, motivate, and support the Kids Club team around them
• A Garda-vetted background (or willingness to obtain clearance before start date)

The Role

• Seasonal contract: Mid-June to end of August
• Full-time, working 5 out of 7 days per week
• Based at The Hillgrove Hotel, Monaghan
