About the Role

As Junior Sous Chef, you will support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in the day-to-day kitchen operations while playing a key role in maintaining high culinary standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong Chef de Partie ready to take the next step in their career.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing all sections of the kitchen to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Support the Sous Chef in leading, training, and motivating the kitchen team
  • Ensure food is prepared and presented to the highest standards
  • Maintain HACCP and food safety standards at all times
  • Contribute to menu development and daily specials
  • Monitor stock levels, reduce waste, and support cost control
  • Step into a leadership role in the absence of senior chefs

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Senior Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards
  • Passion for food, creativity, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment
  • A team player with leadership potential
