About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our Culinary Team and support our Executive Head Chef in driving excellence across all food outlets. This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role, ideal for a chef with strong operational and people-management experience who is looking to shape menus, inspire teams, and take ownership of a dynamic, high-volume kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop a passionate culinary team
• Oversee food preparation, presentation, and service across all outlets
• Support the Executive Head Chef with menu creation, costing, and culinary planning
• Ensure exceptional quality, consistency, and creativity in all dishes
• Manage stock control, ordering, waste reduction, and supplier relationships
• Train chefs at all levels to maintain high culinary standards
• Deliver HACCP compliance and uphold excellent food safety practices
• Collaborate closely with the Food & Beverage leadership team to deliver an exceptional guest dining experience
• Drive operational efficiency while maintaining high culinary standards
• Contribute to innovation, new concepts, and seasonal menu updates

A Day in the Life

You start the day by leading the kitchen briefing, reviewing menus, checking prep levels, and ensuring all sections are ready for service. Throughout the day, you taste dishes, coach chefs, manage ordering, and support multiple services—from breakfast to bar food to large banqueting events. You collaborate with the Executive Head Chef on menu creativity, lead a motivated culinary brigade, and ensure smooth operations during busy service periods. Every day brings new challenges, new opportunities, and the chance to create exceptional guest experiences.

What We Are Looking For

Essential:

• Previous experience as Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a hotel or high-volume kitchen
• Proven leadership and people management skills
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and kitchen best practice
• Excellent organisational, communication, and time-management abilities
• Passion for creating exceptional food and delivering consistent quality
• Flexibility and resilience in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Desirable:

• Experience leading culinary teams in 4-star or branded hotels
• Strong understanding of menu engineering and financial management
• Creativity in menu development and food concepts
• Ability to mentor and develop rising culinary talent
• Ambition to progress within The iNUA Hotel Collection
