We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Commis Chef to join our culinary team. Reporting to the Head Chef, you will work alongside a talented kitchen brigade delivering high-quality food and memorable dining experiences for our guests.
As a Commis Chef, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operation of our busy kitchen. You will gain hands-on experience across various sections while learning best practices in food preparation, presentation, food safety, and kitchen operations.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about food, eager to learn, and committed to delivering excellence.
Assist with food preparation and cooking across different kitchen sections.
Ensure dishes are prepared and presented to agreed standards.
Support senior chefs during service periods.
Maintain excellent food hygiene and HACCP standards.
Ensure all food storage and stock rotation procedures are followed.
Keep workstations clean, organised, and safe at all times.
Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
Contribute to a positive and collaborative kitchen environment.
Help deliver exceptional dining experiences for hotel guests.
No two days are the same in our kitchen. From preparing fresh ingredients and assisting with breakfast, lunch, and dinner service to learning new cooking techniques from experienced chefs, you'll be immersed in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
You'll work closely with the wider kitchen team, gain exposure to different aspects of hotel food operations, and continuously develop your culinary skills while helping create memorable experiences for our guests.

Previous experience in a professional kitchen environment.

Experience working in a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality setting.
