About the Role
As a Receptionist, you will be the friendly face and first point of contact for our guests. You will deliver a seamless check-in and check-out experience, support guest queries, and contribute to the smooth running of the Front Office department.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet all guests warmly and professionally while delivering a high-standard, personalised service
- Manage check-ins, check-outs and reservations efficiently using our hotel systems
- Handle guest enquiries in-person, by phone, and by email
- Assist with billing, payments, and daily cash procedures
- Coordinate with housekeeping, reservations, and other departments to ensure an outstanding guest stay
- Maintain the lobby and front desk areas to brand standards
- Support the Front Office Manager and wider team as needed
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role (hospitality experience desirable)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment
- A positive attitude, warm personality, and genuine passion for guest service
- Flexibility to work shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Desirable:
- Front Office or hotel reception experience
- Experience with PMS systems such as Opera or similar
- Additional languages
