About the Role

As Chef de Partie, you'll take ownership of your designated kitchen section, ensuring every dish leaving the pass meets the highest standards of quality, presentation, and consistency.

Working alongside an experienced brigade, you'll contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences across our restaurant, bar, banqueting, weddings, and events while continuing to develop your own culinary expertise.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage your assigned kitchen section efficiently during service.
  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest standards.
  • Ensure consistency in food quality, portion control, and presentation.
  • Assist with menu development and daily specials.
  • Maintain excellent food hygiene and HACCP standards.
  • Monitor stock levels and minimise food waste.
  • Support and mentor junior chefs and kitchen assistants.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen and Food & Beverage teams.
  • Ensure all health, safety, and food safety procedures are followed.

From preparing breakfast service to delivering exceptional wedding banquets, corporate events, and à la carte dining, you'll work with fresh ingredients, support new menu ideas, and play a key role in creating memorable guest experiences.

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or an experienced Demi Chef de Partie ready to step up.
  • Passion for fresh food and high-quality presentation.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a busy kitchen.
  • Excellent knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP procedures.
  • A positive attitude and team-first approach.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Desirable

  • Formal culinary qualification.
  • Experience within a hotel or high-volume hospitality environment.
  • Knowledge of allergen management and food safety legislation.
  • Experience working across banqueting and event catering.
  • Ambition to progress into Sous Chef and senior kitchen leadership roles.
