The Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Cork is seeking an experienced and energetic Assistant Leisure Club Manager to co-ordinate the daily operations of our Leisure Club, elevate member experience, and assist in driving commercial success within one of the region’s leading hotel leisure facilities.
In this role, you will play a central part in shaping the future of our leisure offering—delivering exceptional service to hotel guests and club members, developing a high-performing team, and ensuring our facilities continue to exceed the standards expected of the Radisson Blu brand.
Business & Operations
Assist in managing in the day-to-day running of the Radisson Blu Cork Leisure Club, ensuring a welcoming, high-quality environment at all times.
Drive membership growth, retention, and revenue through strong sales initiatives and local marketing.
Ensure plant, equipment, and facilities are maintained to Radisson Blu brand expectations.
Leadership & People Development
Develop a team of fitness, sales, and member experience professionals.
Create a performance-driven culture that aligns with Radisson Blu values of genuine hospitality and outstanding service.
Foster teamwork, motivation, and a positive, energetic work environment.
Customer Experience
Build a strong sense of community where members feel they truly belong.
Ensure every guest and member receives a warm Radisson Blu welcome and a consistently exceptional experience.
Champion service excellence across all touchpoints of the Leisure Club.
Safety & Compliance
Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, Fire, Hygiene, and Security standards in line with hotel and Radisson Blu policies.
Maintain a safe, clean, and professional facility for colleagues, members, and guests.
Highly organised and process-focused, with strong attention to operational excellence.
An engaging manager who sets clear expectations and motivates others to achieve.
Strong communicator with the ability to build relationships and inspire loyalty.
Creative problem solver with flexibility and resilience.
Third-level qualification in Fitness, Sports, or Leisure Management.
Experience in Supervising or Managing a team.
Excellent experience of working in a leisure club environment
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Swim Teaching Qualification
Group Exercise Qualification
Occupational First Aid
Lifeguard certification
Experience working with CRM systems
